Dr. Omar Sweidan has been practicing optometry for almost a decade. A graduate of the University of Toledo, Dr. Sweiden went on to receive his doctorate at Ohio State University. He became an optometrist because he wanted to pursue a health profession that balanced patient interaction with improving patients' lives. His favorite part of the profession is hearing the stories and life experiences of his patients!

My daughter failed her school eye exam and I scheduled her to see Dr Wagner, hoping for a routine ey... Show Moree exam with a prescription for glasses. They found an irregularity with my daughter’s vision and immediately referred her to a specialist. I called the front desk, a few days later and they were sweet enough to express my questions to Dr Wagner and she called me, to my surprise, to give me some words of wisdom and to reaffirm that the specialist was a great doctor. We visited the specialist today and as we went to leave he noted that it was a really “good catch on the part of Dr Wagner” to find the irregularities. Which should definitely say something about her attention to detail and knowledge! The staff was super friendly and I will be continuing to see Shawnee Optical! They were all professional and so very sweet! I’m so appreciative for their attention to my daughter’s vision.
